Market Day
The first Market Day order form will be given out with next week's Messenger on August 26th. This year the Market Day fund raiser has two new chairpersons, Joanna Nuemann and Christy Elliot. Things might be a little hectic for us at first but stick with us. We'll get the hang of it in no time.
For those of you new to SVES, Market Day is a PTO fund raiser. The profits from this fund raiser have helped the school buy new lockers, new desks and chairs and most recently the new playground! It takes everyone's help to make this fund raiser work. The more families that order Market Day foods, the more money our PTO makes each month. We also need adults to help sort the food orders on delivery day each month. If you would like to volunteer, please send Christy or Joanna a note with your name and phone number.
Market Day is a company that provides delicious, high quality foods. You can order steaks, fish fillets, snacks, frozen vegetables, desserts and more. Watch for the September order form next week. In the meantime, you can check out their web site at

Scrip News
Over the summer, you will still be able to place orders for Scrip by filling out the order form and dropping it off at SVES or Parish office or place in the Sunday collection. You can also buy Scrip after Mass on the weekends.
Do you need to buy a large gift? Buy some each week and then when you go to buy your gift, pay for it with Scrip. Perhaps you are a business owner. Buy Scrip such as Stonies gift cards, as a gift for your employees. Now SV families can order Scrip online at
